Tetiana Goldenberg

I wrote this book when my life split into a “before” and an “after”: another country, three children, losses, a foreign language and the need to start almost from scratch.

I got up in the mornings because the children had to see that Mum would cope, but one day I asked myself: “And where am I in all of this?”

That is when I realised how many women live with the feeling that it is already too late for them to change their profession, to love, to dream and to choose themselves. This book grew not out of theory, but out of my own path.

I wrote it to tell you: while you are alive, your story is not over.
